If you find yourself in the wonderful season of Pregnancy, congratulations girlfriend! Pregnancy certainly has its ups and downs, but it truly is a miraculous time. To be carrying a real live little person on the inside of you is just something else! I have personally been through two pregnancies. I understand the nausea, aches, kicks, stretching ligaments, sleeping issues and TOILET issues! But I also remember the feeling of wonder just knowing that within my life was another life…growing second by second. I remember feeling so special to be given such an incredible gift, and wondering what kind of personality this cute little thing would have. What would she look like?
I was photographed during both of my pregnancies, and I am so grateful that I made the effort! Sometimes during a pregnancy it can feel like you’re going to be pregnant forever! But of course you’re not (thank God!!) and the season passes by. To have beautiful photographs that document your pregnancy is something very special. Because once you are not pregnant anymore, it is actually amazing looking at photographs of yourself when you were. To look at yourself from another perspective…wow my belly really was that big!
But so much more than that is the lifelong treasure you have in these photographs. Looking at them brings such joy, and of course memories. And to be able to show them to your child as they grow is something very special. I encourage every pregnant woman to capture this time in their lives… and not just because I am a photographer, but from one mum to another. I know what my pregnancy photographs mean to me! Take your own snapshots documenting your belly as it grows, it takes but a minute but you’ll be so glad you did. And better still, have a professional pregnancy shoot done! Sure you might not feel your most glamourous right now, but that is what we are here for! The women in our pregnancy gallery did not look quite so glamourous when they walked through the doors… but we sure made them look and feel glam – even with a big belly!
So what are you waiting for? You deserve to be pampered during your pregnancy, and what would be a better reason than for creating some beautiful pregnancy photos.
